Christine (Chris) Hoffmeyer has recently relocated to Savannah from Chicago, where she sang in the North Shore Choral Society, directed by Julia Davids. She graduated from Western Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy and played violin in the WMU orchestra. She worked in music therapy in New York and Boston before attending the Union Theological Seminary. She has served churches on Long Island and Chicago, singing in church choirs and tinkering at the piano for meditation. Chris served as a chaplain in Chicago area hospitals for 12 years and retired to Savannah where she enjoys musical meditation, playing with her dog, Lily, and awaiting her husband’s retirement. This is her first season with I Cantori.
